Day 1-3: Nairobi-Maasai Mara- Game Drives and Hot-air Balloon Safari Tour
Pick up from Nairobi and drive about 5 hours to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon your arrival in the park, check in at our lodge or Camp. Enjoy lunch before meeting your guide and heading off on a late afternoon wildlife drive.
The Maasai Mara is home to a great year-round concentration of game, including over two million wildebeest, zebras, and other antelopes that comprise the famed Great Migration. Keep an eye out for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs on your daily game drives.
One morning during your visit, get up early and go on an hour-long hot-air-balloon safari over the vast savannah grasslands of the Maasai Mara. The daybreak landscape from the balloon is stunning, as you glide over the reserve’s different ecosystems, which include the huge Mara River, wetlands, and woods. After landing, you have a magnificent champagne brunch on the plains.

Day 4: Transfer Back to Nairobi and Departure
After breakfast at your lodge, leave the Mara and travel to Kichwa airstrip for a scheduled flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. (If the flying option is not your preference, our driver can drive you back to Nairobi, where you will arrive in the afternoon.) Upon arrival, drop off at a hotel of your choice or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward travel plans.
