5 Days Kidepo Valley National Park: Kidepo Valley National Park is considered to be the most beautiful savannah national park in Uganda. It is a unique national park located in the remote and isolated Karamoja region in the north eastern part of Uganda. Detailed Itinerary for 5 Days Kidepo Valley National Park.
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kitgum
Transfer to Kitgum: Depending on your location in Kampala our driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and brief you about your 5 days Kidepo national park. After the briefing, you will start your journey to Kidepo national park with a stopover in Gulu for lunch. After lunch you will continue your journey to Kitgum for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo national park and Evening Game Drive.
Transfer to Kidepo: On the second day, you will wake up have breakfast and then continue with the journey which offers you great views of the homesteads, local people among other as you proceed to Kidepo national park. On arrival in the park you will check in at the lodge and then have lunch.
Evening Game Drive: After lunch you will meet up with your driver guide who will take you for the afternoon game drive in the open savannah vegetation. During the game drive you will be able to view various animal species such as elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, buffaloes and some bird species. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight Adere Safari Lodge/ Apoka Rest Camp/ Apoka Game Lodge.
Day 3: Morning game drive and Community Cultural Tour.
Morning Game Drive: You will wake up have lunch at the lodge and then meet up with your driver guide for the morning game drive where you will be able to view various animals such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, leopards, lions, cheetahs, duikers, bushbucks and bird species such as the Kori bustard, ground hornbill, secretary bird, red eyed barbet, bee-eaters, purple heron, Karamoja Apalis among others.
Community Cultural Tour: After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch and after lunch you will go for cultural tour where you will visit the Karamojong people who live in the northern part of the park. You will have great views of their homesteads and learn more about their way of live as they entertain you through traditional dances, songs among others. After the cultural encounter you will go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Gulu.
Morning Game Drive: You will wake up very early have breakfast at the lodge, check out of the lodge, meet your driver guide for another game drive in the park. Early morning game drives in the southerly Narus Valley in Kidepo national park are the best as wildlife is most active during morning and late evening hours.

Transfer to Gulu: After the game drive you will drive out of the park to Gulu where you will have lunch, relax at your hotel in Gulu town. Dinner and overnight at Acholi Inn/ White Castle Hotel.
Day 5: Transfer Back to Kampala
Transfer Back to Kampala: You will wake up have a relaxed breakfast check out of the lodge and your driver guide will pick you up and transfer to Kampala with en-route lunch. You will reach Kampala early evening and the driver guide will drop you off either at the airport or at any place of convenience. End of Tour
