Day 1: Pickup from Nairobi and Transfer to the Maasai Mara National Reserve
Your Driver-Guide will meet you at your accommodation early in the morning. for a scenic drive along the Great Rift Valley and on to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve. You will be driving your own private safari vehicle. You will stop momentarily enroute at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to experience the breathtaking vistas of the world’s biggest valley, which is supposed to be visible from outer space.
Arrive at your Masai Mara tent and enjoy a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive begins at 3.30 pm and allows you to observe the reserve’s spectacular wildlife, which includes Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard, and Cheetah, as well as Rhino, Elephant, and Wildebeest. Our Driver-Guide will do his best to show you not only the “Big Five” species, but also the “Big Nine”. Return to your tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2-3: Full Day Game Drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve
Days 2 and 3 of your safari entails full day game drives; one in the morning from 6.15 am to 9 am, before breakfast, and another in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Early mornings and late afternoons are regarded as the ideal times to see animals at their most active. Because your safari is private, your game drive times are customizable, which is ideal for families or honeymooners who prefer to sleep in on certain days. You can also choose to have lunch at your lodge or packed. Return in the evening for supper and stay at the camp.

Day 4: Visit Maasai Bomas and Guided Nature Walk
During the day, you may also opt to visit a traditional Maasai tribal hamlet on the boundaries of the reserve. The hour-long village excursion will provide you with an insight into the unique way of life of Kenya’s nomadic warrior tribe, the Maasai. During the day, if you schedule a nature walk, you will enjoy an hour-long stroll with the camp’s resident guide, subject to availability. The stroll allows you to closely view and learn about the native flora and animals surrounding the property. To safeguard against getting too close to wildlife, this trek will not take you inside the main reserve.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer Back to Nairobi
After a relaxing breakfast, check out in the morning. Proceed with the return road transport back to Nairobi, with a quick morning game drive en route. You are required to leave the park by 10 a.m. (An optional one-way trip return to Nairobi is available at an extra fee. Arrive in Nairobi around early afternoon. Drop off at your accommodation, or free transfer to the airport for your return journey home.
