Gorilla trekking

It should be noted that the park has half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas and over 22 habituated gorilla families which gives a chance to a number of tourists to take part in the activity daily. It should be noted that ever since the emergence of covid-19, as a way to protect the gorillas from contracting the virus and the tourists from spreading the virus from to one another the numbers of trackers were increased from 8 to six to avoid overcrowding during the activity.

 Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park is carried out  in the four sectors of the park that is Nkuringo, Rushaga, Ruhija and Nkuringo where the activity is carried out.  When you get to the gorilla families, you will spend one hour with the gorillas observing their interesting features like their feeding patterns, how they co-exist with one another, how they construct their nests for overnight stay what they feed on and also take pictures at the end of your encounter with him.

Gorilla habituation

Gorilla habituation in Uganda is carried out only in Rushaga sector in the southern part Bwindi impenetrable national park which only allows a group of four visitors to take part in the process because of how vulnerable the primates are. Birding

For birders interested in watching a number of different bird species that is the endemic, migratory and seasonal bird species then Bwindi impenetrable national park is the place to visit while participating in your Uganda safari.
