Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kidepo valley national park-evening game drive
Depending on your location in Gulu, on the first day of the three-day Kidepo Wildlife Safari, our driving guide will pick you up, inform you on the safari, and then begin the travel to Kidepo Valley National Park, which is located in north eastern Uganda.
On the journey, you will stop for lunch and enjoy spectacular views of the gorgeous terrain, farmland, and plantations, among other sights. Upon arriving at the park, you will go on an evening game drive to see animals like as buffaloes, elephants, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, oribi, elands, warthogs, and others. After the wildlife drive, you will head to the lodge for supper and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and cultural tour

On the second day of the three-day Kidepo wildlife tour, you will meet your driver guide for a morning game drive where you will be rewarded with views of predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, and jackals looking for a hunt, as well as other animals such as elephants, buffaloes, duikers, bushbucks, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, warthogs, and others grazing in the open plains with due, as well as different bird species. After the morning wildlife drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
Following lunch, you will travel on a cultural tour of the park, where you will meet the Karamojong people in their community. The Karamojong are formidable warrior pastoralists who live along the border between southern Sudan and Kenya. During the cultural tour, you will see Karamojong instruments such as spears, knives, beads, and bows, as well as Manyatta homesteads.
You will also learn about their culture, which allows men to marry as many wives as they want as long as they can pay dowry for them. You will also see half-naked people with tribal markings, listen to old stories, and be entertained by cultural songs, dances, and music. After the cultural tour, you will return to the lodge for supper and an overnight stay, as described above.
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer to Gulu
After breakfast on the last day of your three-day Kidepo wildlife safari, your driving guide will pick you up from the resort for a brief game drive in the park, where you will be able to see creatures that you may have missed the day before. After the game drive, you will drive out of the park and begin your journey back to Gulu, stopping for lunch along the way, and you will be dropped off at any location advised.
