Day 1: Pickup from Kampala/Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have breakfast and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Accessing the park from Kampala is either on the tarmac through Mbarara or Fort Portal via Kasese. The park is 5-6 hours from Kampala on a surface road via Mbarara. On arrival, you will go for an afternoon game drive.
Tracking is the only way that will enable you to see all the wildlife in its natural setting for example buffalo, elephants and other animals that dwell in the grassland thickets of the Northern Kazinga close to Mweya. The most accessible spot for lions is in the eastern part of Kasenyi plains and the Kasese road where they prey on the big inhabitants of Uganda Kobs. The most favorable time for game drives is during the morning and late afternoon hours. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise
You will have a morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector where you will encounter lots of both small and big game including antelopes, lions, leopards, elephants, and in the afternoon; go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel where you may spot various water birds and animals as they come down to drink and bathe. Dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Transfer Back to Kampala/Entebbe
After early breakfast, you will drive back to Kalinzu for Chimpanzee trekking, on finding them, you will be allowed to spend 1hour with them, and after return to the starting point, you’re your guided and transfer to Kampala with a stopover for lunch in Mbarara town and at the equator for photography and the experiment. Proceed to Kampala arriving late evening. Drop off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe airport for your onward flight.
